Never turn your back on an angry servee
Never turn your back on an angry servee. I had just served a woman with a subpoena that she didn’t want and she cussed me a new wardrobe of spittle. She was still swearing as I walked down her front stairs when suddenly a frying pan flew past my head just over my right shoulder . Accurately thrown, I have no doubt that it could have been a killer. Since then I’ve never turned my back on anyone who is angry, I crabwalk until I’m out of range.
Caleb Anthony Snesko Has Arrived!
As if the economy and DC’s humidity was not enough, just when Kara was primed to deliver Caleb, DC’s largest earthquake occurred and Caleb doubled down on his grip to Kara’s innards and refused to expose himself to the turmoil outside the safety of his warm and cozy nest. For the next 12 hours the doctors prodded and probed and finally yielded to the obvious, Caleb was not going to voluntarily exit his home of 10 months (yes, he was way overdue) and a C-section was ordered. Brandon kept the conversation going with Kara as the doctor made the incision. A few minutes later Brandon noticed a nurse climbing up on the operating table and straddling Kara and she began a wrestling match that looked more like a rugby player grappling for a foot ball. Brandon picked up the pace of the conversation in a desperate attempt to divert Kara’s attention from the things that were being done to and in her body just beyond the curtain. Suddenly, at 10:19pm they heard Caleb announce his arrival with a loud protest but shortly thereafter succumbed to the loving arms of his dad and quietly fell asleep. Here is 9 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches of cuteness.
Caleb will be born tonight!
Caleb, Brandon and Kara’s first child (and heir apparent to Same Day Process) will be born tonight whether or not he’s ready for DC’s humidity (the probable reason that he’s been delaying his appearance). Kara was due several weeks ago and on August 14th the doctors attempted to induce labor but Caleb was having nothing to do with it (citing the continuing drop in the stock market). With no hope (or change) in site, the doctors insisted that waiting until November 2012 was not an option and that he would either appear voluntarily tonight (Aug 22) or they would summon him via cesarean to loosen his grip on Kara’s fallopian tubes. The “papa”razzi will be present with his Nikon to record Caleb’s first glimpse of his parents and we will post those photos here for your approval.
